Vicuna Air is a shared private aviation charter service for pets and their owners, flying in the same cabin, on the same aircraft, between London, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Paris. There are no cargo holds and no separation. And from the moment you enquire to the moment you reach your final destination, every part of the journey is arranged for you. This is what we mean by door to door.
Most pet travel asks a great deal of the owner: the forms, the crate, the early arrival, the long wait, the handing-over at a counter. We took the view that none of that belongs in a journey worth taking. So we removed it.
Before you fly
It begins with a conversation, not a checklist. Once your flight is reserved, we guide the preparation – pet documentation, timing, the small details particular to your dog – and connect you with veterinary partners, should you need them, who understand exactly what international travel requires.
Nervous flyer, older dog, first time in the air: we plan around the animal in front of us, not a standard.
By the time the day arrives, the paperwork is settled and nothing is left for you to chase.
The day itself
A chauffeur collects you and your pet from your door. There is no rush to the airport, no terminal to navigate, no queue. You arrive at a private aviation lounge, where check-in is quiet and unhurried and your pet is never taken from you.
In the cabin
Your pet flies beside you, in the cabin, for the entire journey – settled on a blanket at your feet or curled on your lap, just as it would be at home. The aircraft is calm by design. Connectivity on board is genuine, by way of Starlink, so the hours in the air remain your own. There is no hold, no separation, and no moment where you are asked to trust your best friend to a stranger.
On arrival
When you land, a chauffeur is waiting. You are taken onward to your final destination – a home, a hotel, wherever the journey truly ends. The door you left is matched by the door you arrive at. That is the whole of it.
